1. Unclean air filter
Unclean air filter will increase resistance, reduce air flow and air charging efficiency, resulting in insufficient engine power.
Clean the diesel air filter core or remove the dust on the paper filter element as required, and replace the filter element if necessary.
2. Blocked exhaust pipe
Blocked exhaust pipe will cause blocked exhaust and reduced fuel efficiency. Power down. It should be checked whether the exhaust resistance increases due to too much carbon deposit in the exhaust pipe.
Generally, the exhaust back pressure should not be more than 3.3kpa, and the carbon deposit in the exhaust pipe should be cleaned frequently at fixed times.
3. Too large or too small advance angle of oil supply
Too large or too small advance angle of oil supply will cause the injection time of oil pump to be too early or too late (if the injection time is too early, the fuel will not burn fully, if too late, the white smoke will be emitted, and the fuel will also burn insufficiently), so the combustion process is not in the best state.
At this time, check whether the screws of the fuel injection drive shaft adapter are loose. If they are loose, readjust the fuel supply advance angle as required and tighten the screws.
4. Pull of piston and cylinder liner
Due to the serious or worn pull of piston and cylinder liner, and the increase of friction loss caused by the rubber binding of piston ring, the mechanical loss of the engine increases, the compression ratio decreases, the ignition is difficult or the combustion is not sufficient, the lower inflation increases, and the air leakage is serious.
At this time, the cylinder liner, piston and piston ring should be replaced.
5. There is a fault in the fuel system:
(1) the air or blockage in the fuel filter or pipeline leads to the blockage of the fuel circuit, insufficient power and even the difficulty of ignition. Clean the air in the pipeline and the diesel filter element, or replace it if necessary.
(2) The damage of the fuel injection may cause oil leakage, seizure or poor atomization, which may lead to cylinder shortage and engine power shortage. Clean, grind or replace in time.
(3) Insufficient fuel supply of the injection pump will also cause insufficient power. Check, repair or replace the coupling parts in time, and readjust the fuel supply of the injection pump.
6. Failure of cooling and lubricating system
overheating of diesel engine is caused by failure of cooling or lubricating system. In this case, the water temperature and oil temperature will be too high, and cylinder pulling or piston ring seizure will occur easily.
When the exhaust temperature of diesel engine increases, check the cooler and radiator to remove scale.
