Assembly of piston connecting rod assembly of diesel generator set:
1. Clean the assembled piston connecting rod assembly and dry it.
2. Put the cleaned piston in the oil and heat it to about 100℃, then take it out, and put the piston pin into the piston pin hole and the small end hole of the connecting rod in time. During the assembly process, pay attention to the relative position of the valve pit on the top of the piston and the cutout of the big end of the connecting rod. If you forget the relative position of the big end and the pit, you can check other diesel engines or find relevant information. The assembly direction of the piston and connecting rod of the 12-cylinder VV diesel engine is opposite to that of the in-line diesel engine.
3. After assembling the piston and connecting rod, use needle nose pliers to assemble the lock springs on both sides of the piston pin.
4. After the piston is cooled, use special tools to install the piston rings in sequence. In actual operation, the relative position of each ring can also be recorded when the piston assembly is removed, and the assembly sequence of the old ring can be referred to when installing the new ring.
5. Put the connecting rod bearing into the big end hole of the connecting rod. Note that the new bearing can be interchanged, but the used bearing is not allowed to be interchanged.
